Default wire tuck+cruise control

i was wondering if anyone ever hid there cruise cointrol unit in the fender. i think theres plwnt of room in the inner driver side fender. i think i can clamp the cable in two spots then cut in between them peel off that coating and then add a piece. would this affect it? or is this a retarded idea?

Id just get rid of it. But if you do a lot of highway driving it seems you could rig it up somehow.

just take it out when you dont want it and put it in when you need it.

just hide the plug and make it look good.
