Winter vs Summer Tune?
The motor swap will be done this week, and then I'm going to get it on the dyno and tune the V-AFC.
Question is, if I tune it in the winter (It's probably 40-50 degreese here during the day at the coldest) should I retune the car when summer comes around and the temperature (and air density) changes a little? HOw much of an effect will the air temperature have on the V-AFC tune? I mean, if it's 50 degrees when I tune the car now, and it's 80 degrees with a much higher humidity in the summer, won't I need different settings on the V-AFC?

Re: Winter vs Summer Tune? (sc4dr)
that would make sense, as the warmer air would be less dense. What kind of problems might I run into if I just kept the same tune year round? I mean, it's just a JDM motor, should I leave the VAFC out of the picture and just let the ECU take care of temp changes? I'm just trying to get the most power out of the motor that I can.

Re: Winter vs Summer Tune? (what the...)
It depends on how lean you tune it. If you tune it lean in the winter(safely lean) you'll be alright in the summer. But if you tune it lean in the summer, you'll be to lean in the winter.....scarred piston skirts, and detonation lean. Are you using a wideband AFR guage
