windshield knife ??
ive been lookin for the last 3 days and time is running out for me !!
i have to have the windsheild and rear window out of my car by the end of the weekend and i cant find anywhere that sells the tool i need. been to meNards, napa, carquest and a place by my house called 7coners tool( and my god they have everything..but what i need) so i was woundering if any1 has bought the tool and not from snap-on mac and such cuz they dont come around the shop till the end of the week ... thanks for taking the time to read this : ) http://www.matcotools.com/Cata...31273 heres were u can see apic of what im talking about !

Pay to have a glass repair shop remove it!!!
I've got the exact tool shown in that Matco ad and couldn't do it. I've also tried the piano wire trick (works fine on some cars) on my EF Honda and couldn't do it.
Some of the problem is dealing with the metal within the "trim" piece.
I had a glass shop guy come out to my house and he used a special saw that is kind of like a reciprocating saw, but with a long "snout" (think of an ant eater). He made pretty much fast work of it.
