My windows wont roll down from the drivers switch but will from all the other switches and my clock on my dash is turned off too and i smelled something from under my dash when all these things shut off. What could it be? Relay? Computer? Switch? On a 2000 honda accord lx 2.3 l4 4 door

Shorted wiring.

Have you checked fuses? 94

If all the fuses are good then it can only be broken/shorted, [open circuit] on power leads to the clock and drivers window switch, the clock has 3 power leads going to it...

1 12V constant, [hot at all times]
2 12V switched, [hot in run and maybe start]
3 12V illumination, [hot when park lights are on]
None of the above have anything to do with the drivers power window switch, [as far as I know.

You can pop the clock housing out to inspect the wiring, or if you have installed an aftermarket radio or alarm/remote start, inspect the wiring for them.

For the window switch problem I would start by looking at the wiring in the door jamb harness boot, it is common for wires to break in the drivers door boot as it is the door that is opened/closed the most.

You should be able to unplug the door harness at the A pillar, slide the boot back to expose the wires, then one by one tug on the wires, it will be obvious if it pulls out that the lead is broken, however, most times the wire inside the insulation breaks but the insulation does not, so the broken lead will "stretch" as you tug on it.

Any repairs should not be made at the break, [it will only break again] wire needs to be added so connections are made at the plug and inside the door.

The best way to do that is to hit up your local bone yard and grab a door harness or at least the plug and enough wire, [pigtail] to reach into the door.

Remove door panel and door speaker and pull the unplugged door harness into the door and out the speaker opening so you can work on it, [or replace the complete door harness] de-pin the needed leads from the donor plug pin them into your door harness plug, run them through the boot so your connections, [solder/shrink tube] end up inside the door, rerun the harness and plug it in, test window operation. 94
