Will obd2 engine harness plug into obd1 firewall harness

Will obd2 engine harness plug into obd1 firewall harness

I just want to know if I can use the obd2 harness that comes with the swap or do I have to swap harnesses. The plugs that connect at the fire wall look the same but I'm not sure if all the pins are the same. BTW the motor is a 98 b18b that is going into an eg if that matters. TIA

Should plug right in. If it were a 98 Civic harness it wouldn't, as they are one piece through the firewall.
