Ok i have a 96 d16y7 block that I am using for a mini-me set up. I just baught a 92 sohc vtec head today. Now, can I use my HX (economy vtec) wiring harness? Is it wired for the same kind of vtec?

Can I use my HX distributor on the new vtec head?

Also is there a difference between the HX and d16y8 intak manifold?

you can use your harness just add the vtec wires. if your dist lines up and bolts up you can use that also

 

u might have to use some obd 1 plugs for some sensors in the intake maniford
