Default Will an LS header fit a GSR head?

Ok either I ordered wrong, or was shipped wrong. But my Edelbrock header that I just got is for GS LS RS NON-VTEC. And I have a GSR motor. Before I send it back or anything...will it fit/flow right? I'll probably try to put it on tonight, but I thought I'd ask here.

Can anyone provide any more info on this? I may have ordered the wrong one, too...

Someone said that the LS header bends to the right slightly? Any truth to this?

I'm not really worried about length, or bolting up to my exhaust since I'm doing the 2 1/2" collector mod, but I need to know if it'll be straight enough so I won't have to bend piping...

But more importantly, it'll bolt up to the GSR head, right?

I had a brand new header that I had bought for my B16 and never used. When I got my GSR swap I tried to use the header and 2 of the bolts didn't line up. I was kinda under the impression that B16,B18(LS),B18C(ITR),and B20 were all the same and that the GSR was the Honda bastard step child when it comes to exaust and intake manifolds. I might be wrong so anyone else got anything?

All B-series heads have the same exhaust manifold bolt pattern. In addition, a number of header manufacturers list the exact same part number for their LS/ITR header and their '00-'01 GS-R header. I see no reason why the Edlebrock would utilise a different tubing configuration for the two applications.

Just what I wanted to hear; and that confirms what I thought I had read years ago.

Well, just got my Edelbrock header, and I don't think it'll work... Well, it won't work for my car anyway... The B pipe has a slight bend, and puts the collector about 2" off center.

I seem to remember my DC header being straight...

Don't know what to do now...

i had a ls header on my dc before doing an ls/vtec conversion. the header fit on with just a little adjustment on the exhaust piping (had to pull it a little forward a little to reach the header).

Curiosity got the best of me last night, so at 11:00, I was outside jacking up my car and laying on the cold concrete floor trying to eyeball if the new header would fit...

My current DC header bends off to the left to clear the large section of the oil pan, and the new Edelbrock header does the same thing, but I don't think it bends as much.

I'm going to try to take off the DC header and fit the new one and see just how off it is.

I'll post pics when I get back under there...

In case anyone's wondering, the LS header will fit a '98 Civic 2 door with a GSR swap...

I took my POS DC sports header off tonight and test fit the new Edelbrock header, and it'll fit with minimal fuss... Especially when I do the collector mod and put in the high flow cat...

I took pics, but I'm far too lazy tonight to post them up... LOL

Some pics from last night comparing the Edelbrock header to the DC Sports... Please ignore the piece of wood on the DC header... It's the only way I could get it to stand up by itself... LOL

And some pics of the LS header lining up with the existing piping on my car... The short extension will come out, and be replaced by the new stainless collector, and the catalytic converter will be replaced by a new Carsound MagnaFlow... The new Edelbrock header wasn't bolted down, but as you can see, it'll line right up with minmal fuss...
