stock bore GSR block (81mm)

will i be able to bore out this block without having to go 85mm? Just took it apart tonight and im probably gonna take it to a machine shop tmrw to see what they think.

Ouch. That's some deep scarring. I'm going to say no, but only a precision instrument would be able to tell....

no...my uncle runs a machine shop ( http://www.raybarton.com ) we work mainly on muscle cars im not that knowledgable on imports yet but seeing those scars i can tell you even if done you wont be able to turbo/ boost it....the bore will be obscenly huge and cylinderwall will not hold it...don't waste your time with it
