Can GE sleeved/o-ringed block be bored out without any issues?
Friend is selling his 81mm bore B18c1 block with GE sleeves/o ringed and I am in the market to go 84mm. Is it as easy as just having it bored out 3mm? Im just getting into the internals part of my learning so bare with me.

What i was told when I had GE sleeve my block is that the max they recommend going is 84mm. So if you choose to go that way just get a set of 84mm pistons you are going to use take them and the block to the machine shop and have it bored. Also you will probably need like a oversized cometic headgasket not sure though.

Just make sure when you're getting the cylinders bored out, to not mess up the O ring groove. Otherwise, don't run the O ring and make sure the HG seals very well.
