Default Will the fuel pump and/or ECU turn on when there is no engine installed?

I just hooked up my fuel pump and ECU today, but I dont have a motor installed. Will these work without a motor installed?

You'll need to ground the wires that would go to the thermostat housing, that's the ground for the ecu and all that fun stuff. It should power on then, unless there's something else I'm forgetting.
