Whats up guys ? I have a 92 GSR(B17a) and I am going to buy a complete TYpe R head with everything included,. Will this head bolt right onto my motor? What mods will I have to do?? Will I have to make any wiring or computer mods??Will all my sensors work with this head??

 

it should bolt right up most b series parts are compatable

 

Yes, it is the same head with a different valve train and a mild port job.

 

It'll go right on there. Let us kno how it runs. I miss both of my 92 GSR's

 

Yes it will, the B17A head = B16A head = B18C5 head, just different interals and slightly different flow characteristics.

 

Uh.... no... not the same head.

B16 and B17 are almost identical... B18C5 is not the same head as the B18C1.

B16 is similar to the B18C5, but not the same head and it's not a B16 w/ a PnP job. They are VERY similar, but not the same.

And all of these heads will bolt.
