Wierd Idle Problem
Alright here is the problem. We installed a set of pulleys, cam gear and a header. I drove for 700 mile to Michigan and when I got into town, I noticed my car wanted to stall when stopping at lights. I soon noticed it wouldn't do it at night, and got the idea to drive with my lights on during the day. Wahla idle problem gone. Can anybody please tell me why my car idles to damn near stalling when I don't run my headlight?

I've heard of many folks having the same problem...some idiot also trie dto tell me that it was my fast idle adjustment screw. I guess he thought that its liek a carb and you are supposed to mess with them.
How about adjusting your base idle. The details probably depend on what car/year, but it's usually sorta like this.

Find a repair manual for your engine, they're all probably a little different.
I'm guessing it's too low, but when you turn on an electrical load, the ELD tells the ECU to bump up the idle. I guess that's just enough to keep it from stalling.
