Why is my VTEC bogging out at crossover?
yes, my cousins blown b16 did the same thing. we set it at 4000 to see what it was like and blaaaaaaaaaaa. we hit it and there wasnt **** there. i talked to a honda technitian and he said it probably does it because either a. not enough fuel, or b. not enough oil pressure at such a low rpm. i dunno, we threw it up to 5100 and just left it there. if i were u , put it back at 4900
Better be careful with changing the cross over point cause my d16 did that right before it blew. I'd say take it to get dyno tuned and keep those settings.
I feel the only right way to safely and efficently change a vtec crossover is on a dyno, of course I'm extremely picky and conservative, there are some good threads in search.
