why is my oil leaking?
today i noticed oil under my car. so me and my friend jacked it up and tightened to oil drain bolt. it stopped, i started driving again and noticed oil under my car a few hours later. then i bought a new drain bolt and washer from autozone. i put it on and tightened it well. i just checked on it a few minutes ago and oil is continuing to come from the bottom of my oil pan. any idea what it could be. it seems to be coming from my oil drain bolt area but the bolt is tightened wtf???
Are you sure it's not coming down from the back of the block and dripping from the bolt? If it is the bolt try using some Teflon tape on the plug threads. Worked for me!

Could be that your oil filter isn't on tight enough. Could be there is a doubled up o-ring from an old oil filter. Could be the oil pressure sensor or maybe the oil pan gasket. You really need to get under there and look up the back of the block to know.
