Why does my car cut off when im slowing down?
i have a 93 prelude and after it gets warmed up i try to slow down and it mainly does it when i put it on neutral or hold the clutch in the RPM's will go all the way down below 0 and jump back up then go all the way back down below 0 and most of the time cut off while im either slowing down or stopped. sometimes it will do it while im tryin to turn also. Me and someone else think it might be the idler is set too low or one of my sensors have gone bad and need to be replaced. if anyone has any help or ideas what it might be please let me know.
hmm,
first things that come to my mind,
are maybe ur just not getting enuf fuel to hold ur idle?
hows ur fuelpressure?
could be a bad/clogged eacv or fast idle valve?
My car kinda does that, but to a lesser extent,
the higher I raise my idle the less it does it.. but then my idle is higher of course..
I'd say try and find the problem before u do this, as its a temporary bandaid, but just unscrew ur idle screw on ur throttlebody somewhat to raise ur idle, so u can get around without ur **** dying.
