Default Idle Problem

I have a 95 gsr, normally after warm up it idles between 1000and 1200 rpms, im not sure exactly but somewhere in that range. Which i beleive is normal, but sometimes i pull up to a light or a stop sign and i have the clutch in, i look down and its idling below 800 rpms, and it only does this sometimes. I really dont like it and id like to know why it does this. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

if its idling at around 1000-1200 after warmup thats a problem right there. i dunno what to tell you about the around 800 thing. that is pretty much normal right there.

Normal idle is around 750-900 give or take 50-100 RPM. If ur car is idling at around 1200 that is too high. As far ur idle going to ~700RPM that doesnt mean that anything is wrong with it if its consistently doing that. If it really bothers you then what you might want adjust the idle up via the idle screw located on the TB. I dont think that you should do that though b/c nothing seems to be wrong other than what ur preference is.
