Default whp vs hp

Is there a difference? I'm want to get 300hp with my stock d16y8 and a drag 3 or greddy turbo kit. Someone told me i could get 230 whp with a 12 psi boost. What do you think about that?

230whp = approx 250BHP

whp= wheel horse power
BHP= crank horse power

300 is possible i dont think out of an unbuilt block and 12 psi tho

Don't want to argue but 230WHP should be around 260 Engine HP.
