Default white smoke from freshly rebuilt LS, HELP!

engine:b18b turbo but has NEVER seen boost

Like the title states, i have blueish white smoke coming from the exhaust(indicate oil burning) and a little bit from the valve cover. The rebuild consist of new gaskets(head, intake, exhaust, oil pan and etc), new OE rings, new LS pistons on stock rods, and ACL rod bearings, OE main bearings.

I have done a leakdown test and got a 0% leak reading at 100psi on ALL four cylinders. It's a new turbo so i know it's not seals from the turbo. the only thing i could possibly be is valve seals? that's the only thing that makes sense to me that oil could be seeping through to burn. i was reading around and people were saying that it was ringlands but these are BRAND new pistons and rings and havent got more then 1mile on them. I clocked and triple the piston ring gap and piston to wall clearance and everything checked out when i had it apart. I am jus stumped!!

oh and i put a quart of Lucas oil in it(jus for kicks) and the smoke went away for about 20mins then came back a little less then before so im thinking valve seals...

anyone agree or can tell me where to check!! thank you for any answer

What kind of turbo do you have on there?

In the event you DO have an eBay, I have seen some smoke right out of the box..

hey not for nothing here, but they all smoke and smell like **** on brand new startup. sometimes for me they clear up after 5 minutes, sometimes ive had them smoke for a week. with a good tune, go put some load on that motor and seat everything nicely. id drain that lucas out though.

thank you, i jus re-did the timing since i noticed i was off a half degree and the belt had a little more play then it suppose to, i turned it back on and the smoke was gone and drives perfect. not sure if being off half of degree had to do with the smoke, but it's gone now. and yes now im driving it and putting some miles on the motor.

yeah man most newly rebuilt engines moske a lil bit till they break in and everything seats...if you didnt replace the valve sealy you probly should have and if theyre not leakin you got lucky for now....i some how forgot to replace mine last time i rebuilt mine and i wasnt so fortunate.....
