Where should my redline be?
about 8800 is a good spot with the setup you have. Although, some dyno time with some tuned camsprockets would really tell you where the powerband dies off at.

Alright thanks for the help. I agree with you, that some dyno time would really help out. i just wasnt sure if i could Safeley rev higher then the stock 8k, with out worring about valve float. (dont want that). well now i know. thanks.
What cam gears would you suggest?

what about your bottom end - any work done, I wouldn't wanna throw a bearing and F'n my whole engine up - I be careful going past 8400-8500 IMO - without having the bottom end balanced - your head should be able to take it - you might wanna look into lighter (than stock) stainless steel valves as well

Enough!!! Especially when you get into the HIGH RPM's which is what you seem to be doing.....definatly want to go with a 4-1 stainless though.....forget ceramic.
On a b16a I wouldn't really worry about your bottom end until rpms pass 9000. Piston speeds and side wall loading are pretty damn low with the short stroke and good R/S ratio..
Oh, the JDM ITR header should definitly help bring out the power in your cams....especially the top end. Stock b16 exhuast manifold seems to me to be optimized for nothing else other then cost efficency and maybe some low end torque.
