when do you need a MSD ignition and coil?
I hear all the BS, that MSD iginitions dont do ****, ect. when do they actually help a great deal? I have the following
b18b LS motor
ITR pistons
Port/polish and valve job
venom manifold
milled head
crower ti retainers
crower dual valve springs
big bore TB
greddy header
DC exhaust
AEM CAI
fluidline radiator
280cc injectors
AEM fuel rail
ACT clutch
IM about to get some 6403 cams, and wondering if an ignition upgrade is in order?

im runnin about 6lb boost with a s/c. i kno i need to get my motor tuned. with wha im running, would it seem that im in need of goin with some ingnition work.
I would say that "YeS" JARED JR_sohc you would benifit from ignition work cuz you dramaticly upped the HP with boosting and since you will be tunning it might as well get the ignition tuned in with the rest. to get everything insnyc. But as far as giving you more HP i doubt it probably just run a bit smoother. As for the guy at the top i wouldnt do it. spend your money somewhere else.
well how much is your head milled? in high compression motors like mine(12.1) i use a 6a and a blaster 3 coil it helps with detonation. so i run it just to be safe. But stock honda ignition is great lots of highly modded N/A and F/I motors sre running stock ignition.
