Wheel Hop Reduction....
ok..i cant find another picture of the Z10 mounting point....but basically it mounts 3 to 4 inches futher out then the JimFab design -on the bolt that holds the suspension fork....
These bars are designed to reduce wheel hop on launch. But what do the do to your suspension afterwards? I need more info on street and track driving effects. It looks like you would have wheel rub in tight corners, true/not true?
I have my suspension setup with a rock solid rear and a very loose front. I get awesome rotation and I do not want to compromise this. From what I see in the design, the bars control the back and forward motion of the LCA's (that contributed to the wheel hop) but they don't effect the sway or shock properties, correct?

no pictures but all you need to know...before i was worried about the money but after i read this it made me want to buy some....

So if he had a slight wheel run at a 100% turn (but not 98%), then from looking at the CAD drawing above, you would get some major rub with the other two bars, correct?
cant really say...dont have any of them yet...but the CAD drawing is not accurate...but from what i hear* the one on the far right..that one rubs...the z10 (middle) may rub a little depending on you wheels...and the jimfab (left) the radius arms are is actually mounted futher inbound then the Z10 bars..so they might clear the wheels...
see, this is a picture take by jimfab with the wheel at full turning lock..it clears...
..56's gotta love this thread....soo many pitures.. haha

i reduced quite a bit of hop when i went from a 17 with super small sidewall to a 15 with a fat sidewall. under heavy acceleration your tires need to flex. flex is good unless its your chassis.
That pic doesn't say what wheel/tire combo is pictured though. That could be a 5.5" wide steelie with a 185 wide tire. I've got 7" wide wheels with a 42 offset and 225 45 hoosiers and barely rub at full lock with the Z10 kit(no issue on the track under hard cornering). The mount point on the crossmember on the JimFab kit seems further outboard. This could be an issue?
I have LSD, urathane mounts, ES full kit, Tokiko 5 way, ST Sways..... and still wheel hop like none other. I usually run A032R tires, both in 13 and 15" sizes. I really don't want to get the z10 bars cause I don't know how good they would be for road course, but I am thinking about the inner fender bars.
It seems everyone who has gotten rid of wheel hop (WITHOUT RADIUS ARMS) doesnt have a LSD or low profile tires. It seems EVERY 3rd gen Integra I hear about with a LSD and low profile tires has massive wheel hop and the ONLY way the owner can fix the wheel hop issue has been to install some form of radius arm to the front suspension. Radius arms are the ONLY way to totally resolve wheel hop on LSD equiped cars. Ive never read a Z10 or JimFab owner complain about wheel hop while using the radius arms.
So if you solved your wheel hop with simple motor mounts but you have your stock open differential - who cares you dont count! Im just sharing the facts Ive learned.
haha now Im the wheel hop expert!
In my humble opinion radius arms are the end all be all to wheel hop. I think most/all would agree with that. The argument is which manufacturer makes the best one.
