Wheel balancing eights
I have a 97 Civic HX with the stock rims. Is it possible to have them balanced with the weights placed on the back of the rim versus the front. It takes away from the looks. i know it's done on rims but i can't find anyone who does that. i'm in SC.
just tell them you want your tires static balanced, and they will not put any weights on the outside
To get the most accurate balance, you'll probably want to add weight to the inside and outside of the wheel. (ie. dual plane balancing). Have them use stick on weights instead of hammer ons. The stick ons can go just inside the wheel rather than on the lip. You won't even notice them.

Doesn't static balancing mean that your wheels and tires are balaned on a stationary bubble balance instead of a dynamic spin balancer?
