whats the worst that can happen

my water pump has started to leak but i am dead *** broke to change it right now. its not leaking badly just minorly small drops when the car starts. how long do u think i have b it totally eats a ****???and how can i tell if it gets worse?????
mind i do not have the money to fix it for at least another couple days.
need some info asap..thanks

Usually when they leak is because the bearings are crapping out. (But not always.) Drive at your own risk. If it lets loose your may have alot bigger bill than just a pump and belt.
