Default whats the proper way to remove ps?...

i was wondering whats the correct way to remove ps out of a car that comes equip w/ it?..ive been told couple different ways...

1). just remove it and dont worry bout.

2). remove it and got to install a manuel(non ps) rack...

3). just use the one in that came w/ the car and loop the line to each other(not sure what lines are they talking bout)

I know im dumb but back in Id say 1999 I took off my ps and the lines, left the power streering rack still on its still kicking. Also done on a 1995 del sol, still going. Id say the best way would be to get a man rack and do it right. But I didnt have the money so I left it on.
