whats the different weights for differnt hondas?
sorry to post this here, but im not aloud to post in the other areas for some stupid reason.
if any1 knows the exact weight of different hondas please post them. autotrader.com has this information, but i was told that source is not accurate.
what im really trying to find out is the weight difference between a crx si, and a 91 hb si. also the weights of differnbt hb's in different model years.
im trying to decide what car to put my '00 b16 into. i want a crx, but i can get a 91hb si for dirt. also considering puting it into a newer model hb.
if any1 would like to post the weight of any particular honda, i would like that too, just for future refernce, but mostly im interested in the weight of crx's(hf, si, etc) and hb's (cx, vx, si, etc) thanx

how in the hell does a 91hb weigh almost exactly the same as a 94hb? when the 94 looks bigger.
now im pissed, i got a 91hb for my b16 because i thoguth it would be faster with less weight. i should have got a 92.
-i also noticed a huge weight difference in si models compared to hf or dx. is the additional weight from the performance upgrades? like bigger motor, brakes and whatever else. or does the hf and dx chassis acutually weigh less than the si model? the sunroof cant weight that much can it?
if somebody with a lot of time on there hands strpped a dx and a si untill nothing else could be stripped, would there be a weight difference?

The Si has a sunroof, good for about 50lbs. Remember there's a motor, cables, a rail for it to move on, seals... There's also AC, I don't know how much all that weighs, but it's enough. The shells are the same, except for the sunroof, it's the stuff bolted to them that makes the weight.

Absolutely awesome hatch. I am sure it prolly cleans up in road races. But the wing still takes away from the aesthetics of the car....but we all know aesthetics mean exactly zilch in racing.

here's how...the mass of the 91 is almost the same mass the the 92. weight=mass x gravity and gravity is constant. So being that after everything is put together on both cars and the mass in near the same the weight is near the same.

Thats not my car, ***** head. And not only is the car quicker than yours, the driver is also better. Did you ever stop to think that a guy who is building a race only car and getting rid of any excess weight would only put things on that provide a benefit on the track?
