Default Whats the difference?

ok i know there is a jdm and usdm p30 ecu. what is the difference? i searched p30 and i didnt see anything that related to this. thank you in advanced

Nothing really..

Other than maybe speed limiter and such

Just the JDM P30 has a smaller casing/motherboard. The US has a bigger one.

so if i wanted to BAR my b16 in my crx could i use a jdm p30 ecu? it wont run rich and the timing wont be off or anything? it would run fine if i timed it?

Hmmm... Both ECU's will run the car. One thing I have noticed when using JDM computers is the timing is never really "set". I guess it may be me and my timing light but I always have a hard time setting initial timing on a JDM ECU... Mind you I am only using the dizzy to set initial timing and not a tuner program.... But as far as running the motor, it WILL run... How good will it run...??? You tell me!
