yes, is it just called a ball-joint boot or what? i found where it is torn, its very little but is still pushing out grease when i turn sharp
is it possible i can just seal it with some rtv silicon since it is so small?

Don't buy the one from MOOG (Part MO-K9863) They list it as the correct on for the Honda Civic '93 DX, it not even close, plus it has zip ties instead of the pictured metal clamps. Real rip off for the extra money you pay for the name.

thats odd, usually moog prices are in line with any decent part, if there is power steering fluid leaking out the boot, then it's a rack problem not a boot problem, they are dust boots, OP the hose is there to equalize air pressure between the two boots, as one is compressed and one extends. there should be no fluid in there, that means a rack seal is leaking
Off topic well kinda but I made the mistake of letting an alignment shop install my tie rods that I supplied from advance auto. since they had to align it either way. drove good with little steering play for a couple weeks and then loosened up to what it use to be. that was about 5 months ago and I just got access to a jack to change my oil. looked at em while I was doing this and the stock tie rods (black with some rust) were still on the car. the new ones were cast steel with no paint. who knows where the new ones went....probably on some other customers car....long story short I got ripped off hard and cant find either reciept

any fluid in those means the rack has to be rebuilt or replaced, usually due to the wrong fluid being put in at one point
