whats the best cams for the job..? FULLY BUILT B16 HEAD ITR INTERNALS..
i recently sent my b16 head to comptech where i dumped about a grand in parts and labor.. the only thing is.. i need CAMS!!.. i have the money.. but not the knowledge.. ive been trying to study up and i think ive came down to a few choices.. skunk2 or spoon.. the settup im running is b16 head (itr valvesprings, retainers,ss valves (intake side upgraded to 34mm).. this is a cr/vtec motor so the compression isnt fantastic but its ok.. all i wanna know is.. will the skunk stage 2's be to much lift for the valves and be to much on the internals? im only going to be takin it to 8k..
can someone let me in on some knowledge??

if you have the stock b20 pistons you cant do any cams. the valves will hit...especially oversized.
If you have aftermarket pistons get ctr cams and a good set of cams gears. honestly they make a grip over power and are easy on parts. unless you feel like doing aftermarket valvetrain stick with them IMHO.
