Default what would u recommend for an old engine?

Im planning on picking up this engine but it has nearly 200k on it. What would u guys recommend to do to take care of a motor this old, it does burn some oil, so would rings, pistons etc. be a wise idea?

new bearings and thrust washers, fresh hone is a definate with new rings, if you are going to buy new pistons buy over sized ones and bore it a little for a fresh start, thorough cleaning, balance the rotating assembly if your picky, new oil and water pump, gasket set, valve seals if you wanna touch the head.

due to past experience, oil doesnt just burn from the pistons. check valve guides, valves, and seals.
