They look like easy access coil holder downers. maybe for that authentic JDM racecar look? Or better airflow across the coilpacks?

 

Oh **** I just realized, they are earthing straps for the coilpacks. Nice looking ones to boot.

 

Grounds of some sort?

Exactly. The K engine has coil-on-plug ignition. This is just a low resistance ground strap. Pretty sweet if you ask me

 

They look like hen weighs.

 

The only problem I see with it is that the coils dont ground externally, they ground through the wiring harness and through the plug. It may have some benefit for radio interference but other than that I see none other than the bling factor.
