if i use 600deg painT on my valve cover will it crack?

its for a 96 sohc non-vtec engine... doubt that matters...


what temp do valve covers reach?

 

That should work... I can't remember what temp the spray I used on mine was. However if the vavle cover reaches that high, then chances are the engine would be toasted. Since it's running around 180 degrees depending on what stat is being used... hehehe

 

the outside of the valve cover doesnt even get close to that hot. 600 degree paint will be good.
