Default Valve Cover Temp

Thinking about getting some VFT wrinkle red spray paint for my valve cover. But it only says its good up to 350. Does a y8 valve cover get hotter than that

no the valve cover doesn't get hotter than that, it should be fine. But check the back of the can it will say what the paint is meant for

the one i used on my valve cover was from Dupli Color and it said engine enemal on it, but it also said that it can withstand 500 degrees F.
