brand new condition is 205 on each cylinder. your compression is going to vary between each clyinder. your maximum minus your minimum should not be more than a 20psi diff. your minimum compression on anyone one cylinder should be 165 (i think). I'm not too certain on the last figure. IE mine was 190,190,190,185. it's normal for one clyinder to be stronger or weaker than the rest.

compression numbers depend on a lot of variables....general rule of thumb is 180 psi is "a healthy motor" anything above can be considered normal as long as cylender variation is no more then +/- 10Psi

Also make sure your battery is fully charged... and you throttle is wide open!!!

4 to 6 cranks will be good..

Why does your throttle need to be fuly opened? Does it affect the numbers? I tested at 192.182.182.182.

The throttle must be fully open because w/the motor only turning at cranking speed the motor doesn't have the ability to take in air as easily.

So this will effect my compression numbers. Also I saw your signature ... email me on a price for a b16 port and polish job and where you are located. I am building up a head right now
