what shocks? springs?
search button not so helpful. thinking kyb and skunk2 "coilovers". what bout gc for a little more than the skunks. how bout the kyb's, someone sayd they blow out easy, is this bullshit?
Skunk2 tend to be bouncy and rough , this is what i heard from fellow owners...
Kyb are ok.. but no comparison to Koni .. Actually i think i would rate Tokico better than Kyb..
but that is just my .02cents..

koni's -500
illuminas - 450
agx's - 350
ground control 'limited edition' are very comfortable
purchased for 320 shipped from diablomotorsports watever their company is
rates are 350F 250R
soo their really comfortableif u match em with adjustable shocks
certain shocks wear out faster on stiffer spring rates...which i think AGX would....but mine are fine on my sportlines.....which is only stiff in the front....

I have the gc limited edition on my '91 ef matched with externally adjustable koni yellows, and I like the setup a lot. I've gone through a number of springs, all of which were too low for my taste.. I did like H&R sport springs tho, they were really sweet, compared with the Tenzo R crap I had before. The Koni's have some notches on the shock body, so you can move the ring that the spring perch sits on, effectively changing the ride height. But as I found on my car, the highest setting in the front was still lower than stock...
That's why I got the gc, so I could raise it back up a bit. All in all, i'd say that real coilovers are worth it, because you get a wide range of adjustability, and after all is said and done, i've probably spent about as much money on springs/shocks as it would have cost to get the coilovers... oh yeah, my springs rates are 350 in the front, 250 in the back.

For the price of sleeves and koni yellows i'd rather spend an extra couple hundred and get real coilovers. H&R coilovers aren't too badly priced and are pretty good from what I hear. Also, the new koni coilovers are pretty cheap, but I haven't heard very much about them.
