what is this sensor called
i need to know exactly what part number 21 is, cause i think that is on the firewall in my 92 prelude 4ws, this is a pic of a 95 h22 that i put in, thanks

would it have been on the firewall with the h23, cause there was no plug there for it, but something very similar if not the same is on the firewall, so would i be alright just putting a block off plate there

confused... what exactly are you trying to do?
if you swapped in an h22, does the map reside on top of the tb like in the pic? if that's the case then you need to hook your vacuum up to it instead of the map that was/is on your firewall... or at least thats what i think you should do

Some of the older hondas have the map sensor mounted on the firewall instead of having them mounted on the throttle body. I believe older civics, accords, and maybe early preludes did. The ones mounted on the firewall look slightly different from the top mounted throttle body ones but they work exactly the same way. Just mount it somewhere on the firewall and run a vac line to it.

If your state conducts an underhood inspection for emissions testing, this may not pass. You can completely remove the stock MAP sensor and lenghten the wires to connect it to the TB mounted MAP. Cover the wires with a piece of split-loom, and the average tech won't know the difference.
