Default What is this sensor?

I've researched numerous manuals (90-93 Integra, 94-01 Integra, etc) reguarding my engine block but still havent found an indication of what sensor this is. I have a B18A1 block paired with a Pr3 head (LS Vtec). Every thing works fine, however my cheak engine light is on and I can only narrow it down to a few possibilties.

My main question is does anyone know what this sensor is?

I've double cheaked the postion of this sensor and verfied that it is NOT an oil pressure sensor, oil temperature switch, or knock sensor based on it location according to factory manual diagrams.

below i circled the location of this sensor.

NOTE: on newer B18B1 blocks this location does not have a sensor, just a hexed plug.

if its a 2 prong sensor with a greenlike silicone surround, then its a water temp sensor used on the older B series blocks. and i didn't see what year your car/wiring harness is, but if you have a newer water pipe and thermostat housing with newer temp sensor, i believe you shouldn't need this.

have you checked your code? thats your first step.

Thanks! Your right, thats what its. Im using an OBD2a harness with a waterpipe from a B18b1 so I dont need the sensor.
