Default What parts need 2 B balanced?

My LS block is being preped for ls/vtec. I am throwing ITR pistons on the LS rods. Do those need to be balanced or is just the crank and cranck pulley fine? Also I had my flwheel lightened and balaced before, does it need to be balanced again?

depends how crazy you want to go, you may want to even all the weight on
ALL moving parts, rods, pistons, crank. If a machine shop is doing it the install of those parts, ask them to weigh them and even them out. You find the lightest and bring down all the heavier ones to that level. You need a really good scale. See you r nearest drug dealer....heheheheheheheeheh they usually have some of the best ones....hehe

Depends on if your engine is internally or externally balanced. The best is to bring the whole engine to a shop and have them balance it. They'll usually put some weight on the flywheel and on the crank pulley.
