What are the +/- of LS Crank in GSR

What are the +/- of LS Crank in GSR
I did a search and found out it has a longer stroke and increases displacement. Can this have any negative effects though? Reason I'm asking is cause I'm looking at a buying GSR with LS crank and B16 pistons.
