Hey im about to send in my head to get machined
so far i have crower valves and springs, ti retainers.
now as for the guides, should i go with alum bronze? or stick with oem cast iron?
i know the alum bronze are cheaper but dont last long.
and oem cast iron make you wanna grab your ankles cuz they cost so much.
heres what i wanna figure out, this is my daily driven car, and it see's lots of track time.
which guide will give me the best performance
because i got ti retainers i will have to replace those sooner, use alum bronze
i dunno what else to ask, ive been working my *** off the last few days, so my mind is outta it.
thanks

thats what i was thinking of going with
but since its a softer material it wont last as long
how will they do with the extreme heat caused by forced induction?

Im in the same situation. I need some guides and am wondering if the bronze will hold up long term?
Another note, when a new guide is put in, why does the valve need to be ground for a proper seat?
