I have a shot iac on my 98 civic ex. what years and trims (and even models) can i replace it with?

You're using the EK rotary IACV found on all automatic 96-00 civics. Afaik it's only used on those particular civics.

 

Oh, and if you don't count them with civics, 96-97 automatic Del Sol's use that IACV too.

 

Actually all '96 - '00 Civics with the D16Y7 and automatic EXs.

 

The IACV's on auto and manual D16Y7 motors look identical but are actually two very different parts. I believe the manual one costs around fifty bucks more new.

Elli- It's good that this was mentioned since the wrong one can look the same as the right one. Check the part number stamped on the IACV you purchase to be sure.
