Default what else do i need for a b20/vtec.....?

how much does this actually cost....i have a gsr motor right now....but want the b20 bottom .....soo i would just need to buy one of these? i can sell my gsr bottom and get the b20 bottom right? but what else do i need to do with the block to prepare it...? can u give me the links to all the CRVTEC sites? and any names that have done this?

Stick with the GSR don't build a B20vtec, you will not be able to go rev happy on a b20vtec because you have no oil squirters and the way the bottom end is built. Unless you want to dump tons of cash in to getting it built I wouldn't do it.

I think I've seen the b20 blocks go for $600-900 depending on whether it's a B20B('97-98) or B20Z ('99-00). True, you won't be able to go rev happy from what I've read. But you won't need to with all that TQ down low and in the mids.

how much is the b17 crank? is that R/S ratio crock forreal? 1.7's (R/S) is the best for high rev's and forced induction?

would that set me back more?

Yeah, a brand new crank is gonna be a bit, unless you want to find a used one, but good luck; 2nd gen gsr's are pretty rare. And oil squirters are probably not that difficult to install, and you can buy a girdle for the block if you want to rev it like that.
