What does Circuit Worx Spool do?

Iv never herd of this before and have been trying to do research on it but i cant find anything. What does this do for a transmission?

NO, a spool is a full time lock diff. there are no clutch packs, or spider gears, just a solid piece of metal with splines for axles and ring gear holes. always locked etc
