i read you gotta break in your car b4 you get it tune and i also read you gota tune your car b4 you break it in witch one is it, i just got my gsr rebuilt and i wanted to know b4 i messed anything up.

 

If its not set up with a proper tune first, you will break it while breaking it in.

 

If you still have the stock setup and a stock ecu then your fine. If you got a larger bore and deeper stroke like or anything then if you should get it towed to your tuner shop. The motor will start the "break in" as it gets tuned.

 

Yes, if you have a know good ecu tuned for your basic set up, you should be ok.

Just keep it out of boost until it's on the dyno.

Or you can take it to the tuner and have them break it in on the dyno.
