I'm having issues with my b16, I have fuel, I have spark but it just won't start. I'm almost out of ideas and i'm sick of it just sitting there in my driveway. My last thoughts could be: A bad pcm (but I can't test it to find out), or faulty map sensor or some positioning sensor. Please help.

 

bad map sensor = still running, but shitty. did it jump timing? is it throwing any cel's?

I was thinking about the timing, i'll look when I get back home. I wasn't sure if it would even start if the map was bad. Does anybody know the resistance of the map sensor?

did you cheak all your grounds?

 

Yeah and the grounds are all good.

 

what about main relay ? and you hear the fuel pumping ? maybe something in the distributor ?

 

I'm getting fuel, so I know my main relay is okay. I replaced the coil in the distributor so I could get spark, but it just doesn't want to start. I have good compression.
