Weird sound when turning
My CRX been making this knocking sound when i turn. Its comming from my drivers front side wheel. I know its not rubbing. It was the same wheel where my control arm got stuck to my chassis. But i got that fixed and its still making the sound. Could that have caused the knocking problem? Is my shock blown? Give me advice. Thanx.

I'm sure it's the cv axle, check to see if your boot is torn., if your lcky you might just need a new boot, make sure you pack it with grease, that would run you about $30, if you been running that way for more than a few months I would suggest getting a new a axle. that would run you about $75-$150, ggod luck

Yup, but once it starts knocking its too late for a simple boot/grease job, the grit and dirt has already got up in there. Some places around here do cv joints for like 50-80 a side, slightly cheaper than a Autozone rebuilt axle.
