Weird problem/tuners/mechanics answers needed
ok, quick run down
turbo gsr, peak hold 1000cc injectors, with resistor box wired in (dsm/honda resistor box)
compression test good, injectors flowed perfect
number 1 cylinder has spark but no fuel, swapped injector, still number 1 is not fueling
noid test all other good, 1cylinder very weak to no lighting, swapped resistor box and still no avail (used good know resistor box on another car)
took out resistor box and used factory block off power plug, and car started right up and purred, before this ran on three cylinders
first off has anyone seen this.
obviously this was a temporary solution, and testing to figure out the problem
could it be the wiring on that one injector has to much resistance???
obviously the injectors are peak/hold made by precious flow tested to flow over 980 cc s and ohmed out to prove there peak/hold , so they need a resistor box or will burn up computer in long term
i still have to run a overlay to test to see if that will solve the problem, but wanted to see what people think or have seen
UPDATE: ran an overlay, problem went away, put it back to stock (without overlay) problem gone, turned car off, then restarted again, then problem moved to number 3
ran complete second harness for injectors, depined right at ecu, ran resistor box on second harness just for injectors, and ran power from battery to resistor box, still same problem
i know the only fault in system is faulty iacv, it clicks so i think its a wiring problem, checked wires has continuaty thru both wires
im at a total loss
tried 2 diff ecus even to diff chips still same prob. wondering could a main relay be a problem not supplying enough AMPERAGE????
any help will be appreciated
dan
also will need further tuning becuase of this but one step at a time
thanks for any info
