weird overheating
I know there are a bunch of threads for overheating but so far none of them apply to my problem. I plan on checking the thermostat and fan tomorrow and rebleeding to get anyand all air bubles i can out of the system. The car is fine on the freeway. Normal city driving it will do fine. Then just start overheating. Nor a gradual thing. Normally I can find the problem. This one baffles me. i have never had sudden overheating. It goes from normal to HOT really really quick. Normally there is a gradual heating, not so this time. I am at a loss right now. ANyone know what might cause this sudden overheating. Radiator cap is fine and there are no leaks. The only thing I could think that it might be is the head gasket thoug there is no mixture in fluids(just did an oil change). There is steam coming fomr the exhaust more then it used to. THat is why I am thinking head gasket. THough I have never had this type of overheating with a bad head gasket. ANy insight would be most helpful.
