weird cut out problem
Ok to start with I made it to honda tech meet for the first time this year and i have to say that im very impressed. I own a performance shop in spokane wa and i am just stunned to see how many people are honda lovers. I have been working on honda's and tuning for many years now and i have had my fair share of issues before but im at my ends with this one. The car is my 94 del sol and it has a B18B with pistons, rods and some other good stuff. I used to have the motor in my crx with no issues but when i swapped it to my del sol the problem started. I run anywhere from 10-25 psi on it daily when it was in the crx. The engine is still in perfect shape and compression is great. so i swap it and it seems to cut out under 15psi and up and the tach goes up and hits aprox 5-6 k and then you feel the car cut out and the tach jumps to around 9k. I have replaced fuel filter, the dizzy, the ecu, changed the tune a few times, added more grounds to the engine, ect. I found a thread here that was somewhat related and i did everything they tried. the wide band stays rich when the car cuts out so im not thinking fuel issues. the tach jump at first lead me to the dizzy but i swapped a known good one in. Im a busy guy and i have tons of stuff going on so maybe my brain is just not working right but if any of you have had this issue or just have some input im all ears.
ok so nobody has an answer, ok well let me ask you this, who knows aprox what the limit of a stock honda ignition system, i have personally pushed 400 + hp out of it but what have some of you pushed out of a stock system. It still would not make since that my ignition was bad because i ran this exact engine on a stock system and had nothing but power. anyway i am going to try a few things this week as soon as i finish some customer cars but if anyone has a few suggestions about what i should try then please let me know.

well its a walbro 255 and they are msd 750cc injectors. As far as i can see tho it was not leaning out at all the wideband was reading 11.8 across the board. But i believe i figured it out, I didnt have a dump pipe on the wastgate because i was rushed to get the car to Seattle, well i put a dump pipe on and it went away so far. all i can figure is that turbo was sucking so much volume to compress 25 psi that it was sucking up the majority of the exhaust dump, and it was just not enough oxygen for the engine at that level. but the roads were wet and it just spun when i just tried it, so i will try again in the morning if its dry, i could only build 15psi on the wet roads but it still felt better that it did.
