Default weird CEL, ECU connections?

I was coming home from the store tonight and my CEL went on. I had my hondata installed the day before and have never had any CEL's previously.

Now...the car ran normal with the CEL on, minus VTEC engagement, obviously. My question is this. Could a bad socketing of the hondata be causing this intermittent CEL? I had my girlfriend press her feet against the ECU cover, and the CEL returned once I had restarted the car. I wiggled the ECU around, started the car up and I got an instant CEL, three times in a row. I wiggled it around once more, started the car.....no CEL. I drove it around, and it performed strongly.

again....the car drives fine with the CEL on as well, minus VTEC

Could a bad ECU connection be causing these symptoms? I don't know how to check the CEL in the 93 integra, I can find the damn jumper harness.

Ill talk to the guys that installed the hondata tomorrow, but until then, id really like to get some feedback on this.

Ill be in contact with the only hondata dealer in MO tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone knew off hand if it is something simple like improper soldering or loose connections.

Talked to Tim (hondata dealer) today.

Tim says the soldering could be hitting the back casing of the ECU, which is why when that girl pushed down on her feet, the ECU went off. Im going to his place Monday and he'll fix it then, but he doesn't seem too worried, since its not accompanied by timing retard or stuttering or anything.

Man....that was one long night. I had dreams of low oil pressure....im just glad Tim is going to take care of me.
