Default water and oil temp

i read that most engine produce the best power when the oil temp is over 200 degees and the water over 180 degreese....


is this true?

Engines put out more torque across the board when the oil is at its lowest viscosity, that temperature will depend completely upon the oil you use.

More power can be made in a cooler engine rather than an excessively hot one, so I'm not sure I'd go with the water temp claim.
